Your First Class
WHAT TO WEAR
For yoga and barre classes at our Jacksonville fitness studio, we suggest wearing comfortable, moisture-wicking clothes. You may find that a bandana or headband is helpful to prevent sweat from going into your eyes. A mat and towel are essential to the practice. For cycling classes, we suggest sporting a tee or tank on top and form-fitting pants or shorts on the bottom. Avoid long, loose-fitting pants during spin classes, as these risk becoming tangled in the bike.
Whether rocking out on the bike in one of our cycle classes, flowing on the mat in an intense group yoga class, or pulsing at the barre in our group barre classes, hydration is key! We have bottled water for purchase, or you can bring your own reusable water bottle.
We advise eating a light snack at least 30-45 minutes before your group exercise class. This will keep your blood sugar up and your energy strong while working out. Try to avoid eating anything heavy for at least one hour before class begins at our Jacksonville fitness studio.
First-time guests should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled barre, cycle, or yoga class. The doors are locked when class begins, so please make sure to arrive on time!
If you reserved in advance, your name will appear on our Wellness Living platform at the front desk of our Jacksonville fitness studio. Please let one of the Rebel Ladies know you’re here. It’s important to sign in for every class to ensure your spot on the mat, bike, or barre. If you have not arrived THREE minutes before class, your spot may be released to allow for walk-ins.
All new guests must sign a waiver in the fitness studio before the first scheduled group exercise class. Guests who are 12-17 years old must have the waiver signed by a parent or guardian prior to the first class
